Justin Lozier
Owner & Head Guide
Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Justin learned to ski at age 4 from his father, 20-year National Ski Patrol veteran, Michael Lozier. After mastering his skiing technique on the icy, midwestern slopes of Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin, Justin yearned for more and moved to Vail, Colorado to advance his skiing in the Rocky Mountains. Justin’s love for skiing and his passion to share the experience with others led him to begin his career in backcountry ski guiding. After several years of guiding snowcat skiing, hut trips, backcountry ski touring and ski mountaineering in Colorado, he relocated to the infamous Wasatch Range of Utah to explore greater opportunities and begin his heliski guiding career. Among other areas of ski-related study, Justin attended Dean Cummings’ H2O Guides Heliguide School in Valdez, Alaska in 2006. His experience in the rugged Chugach Range not only gave him a wealth of knowledge, but also stoked the fire of passion within him to advance his skiing once again. This drive brought him to the Andes Mountains of Argentina to begin his own ski tour operation, PatagoniaSkiTours.com. During the winter in the United States, Justin guides heliskiing with Wasatch Powderbird Guides, based in Snowbird, Utah.

Sean Zimmerman-Wall

Assistant Guide, Photographer & Award-Winning Journalist
Sean grew up moving all around the United States following his father, who was a Colonel in the Air Force. Relocating every few years until he was a teenager, Sean learned to appreciate the value of changing venues, but he especially loved the mountains. Settling down during his high-school years, Sean and his family lived near the Smokey Mountains of Eastern Tennessee. Skiing and hiking trips with the Boy Scouts further fueled his deep admiration for rugged environments, and although the snow was harder to find, it was that much sweeter when he did. Longing for the grandeur of the Rockies, Sean picked up and moved west to Salt Lake City. While finishing up his Marketing and Tourism degree at the University of Utah, Sean gained employment with the Snowbird Ski Resort. The lofty peaks and epic snowfall enabled him to develop his alpine touring skills and eventually secure a position with the Snowbird Ski Patrol. Working with one of the most dedicated and advanced patrols in the world, Sean honed his snow safety and medical skills in one of the most extreme resort environments on the planet. During the summer, he works as a horseback and ATV guide for High Country Exploring. Venturing to the Andes in 2010, he discovered an entirely new realm of possibility. The cultural and natural beauty of Patagonia sparked a powerful interest in further exploration, and after joining up with PatagoniaSkiTours.com, he continues to find adventure wherever he looks.
