La Hoya opened this morning with free lift tickets for all, a 140 cm mid-mountain base and powder snow conditions!
Rounding out the ski resort openings in Argentina for the 2012 South American ski season, La Hoya fired up their Las Lengas quad this morning and are offering FREE lift tickets for skiing and snowboarding today. Following a major winter storm, La Hoya had recently announced an opening date of Saturday, July 7, but they were able to dig out the lifts and lodges, plow the parking lots, and prep a couple of the lower elevation trails to open today! Two trails are open today, Del Bosque and Principiantes, and they are currently reporting a 140 cm (55 inch) mid-mountain base, 170 cm (67 inches) on top, and powder conditions all over the mountain. Visit La Hoya’s Parte Diario page for updated mountain conditions, and check out our Weather & Snow page for the latest forecasts.
We will be skiing at La Hoya this season as part of our 5 Star Adventure Ski Tour with Jans Mountain Outfitters of Park City, Utah. We have a few spots remaining for this all-inclusive ski adventure through Argentine Patagonia. Visit our Reservations page or Contact Us to sign up! Vamos!
